The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has officially welcomed three members of the House of Representatives from Katsina State who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.
The lawmakers are Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri, Hon. Aliyu Iliyasu Ruma and Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai.
The lawmakers officially defected to the ruling party on the floor of the green chambers earlier today.
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina attended the plenary session when the lawmakers moved to the APC after Speaker Tajudeen Abass announcement.
Their defection is seen as another major blow to the PDP and a significant boost for the APC as the ruling party continues to consolidate power across various states.
