
The governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo has opened up on his reason for visiting President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja.
Soludo said he met with the president due to his support for his administration and the bold steps Tinubu has been taking to revive Nigeria’s economy.
Speaking to journalists after a closed-door meeting with the president, the Anambra governor called on political parties across the country to identify as progressives.
He also urged these political parties to form a coalition for the good of the nation’s democracy.
According to Soludo, President Tinubu is in high spirits and their meeting was a pleasant one.
Speaking on his support for the president, his government and political ambition, Soludo said that despite being in different parties, he has been friends with Tinubu for a long time.
“President Tinubu is my friend; he has been my friend for 22 years now and counting, so you don’t deny your friend.
“I support him, and I’m impressed by the bold steps he has taken, particularly in the areas of the economy, the structural reforms, and I have said so severally times, we’re taking the right steps and we need to stay the course,” he said.
Only the wise one understand this, it takes time to make change that will pick Nigeria up from economic mess that Tinubu inherited, but a willing, focus leader as bold as lion like Tinubu, Nigeria is in a safe hand to prosperity and peace again, because this Tinubu administration are making changes in all key areas, like Agriculture, health, Industrialization, Education, constructions, science and technology, in Security, and fighting corruption and corrupt leaders is not totally left out, productions and focussing on workers well-being improvement, that guaranteed our giants recovery from previous losses in our Nation economy, with this and involvement of and women in the government, i see that nobody can do it faster than the way Mr President, His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu is making Nigeria to work again, what a renew hope for our Nation, Nigeria.
