Governor Godwin Obaseki has appointed a new chief of staff following the resignation of Taiwo Akerele who formerly held the position.
Obaseki has appointed Osaze Ethan Ozamere as his new chief of staff. This was announced via a statement on Saturday night signed by the secretary to the state government, Ogie Osarodion.
“An investment banker, Uzamere, 38, is a graduate of Stony Brook University, New York, where he majored in Computer and Electrical Engineering. He has had stints with Lehman Brothers and South Grade Engineering, among others.
“A thorough-bred professional, he had, before his appointment, served as Executive Assistant to Governor Obaseki.” the statement read.
Osaze Uzamere, 38, is the son of a former senator, Ehigie Uzamere.
