Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso has denied reports of dumping the Peoples Democratic party, PDP.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Kwankwaso has been strongly linked to the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), a Third Force Movement. But in a recent interview with BBC, the 65-year-old said he has not left the PDP.
“As we speak, I am still in the PDP,” Kwankwaso said.
He added: “I have not left the PDP.”
Speaking on the NNPP, Kwankwaso said it was a ‘Fresh Arrangement’ and that they want him to join because in most states “they don’t have anybody.”
Meanwhile, a former Governor of Kwara State and one-time Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has hailed Kwankwaso for coming out to make his political affiliation known. Saraki in a post on his official Facebook page said “it is the the right decision to take”.
“I am happy to read that my friend Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has clarified the air on his party affiliation. This is the right decision to take.
“Following my consultation with several leaders and stakeholders of the PDP in Kano State, who paid me a visit this past weekend at my home in Abuja, I am resolute that Senator Kwankwaso and his structure will remain in the party to rescue and rebuild Nigeria,” Saraki wrote.
The reasons for Nigeria remaining in the woods are not farfetched, with the revelations and exposure of political HARLOTS like this UNPRINCIPLED OPPORTUNISTS Kwankwaso.
HOPEFULLY, NIGERIANS SEE THROUGH THE ANTICS AND DECEPTIONS OF GUTLESS POLITICIANS.
A man we all saw supervised and oversee the formation birth and announcement of a new political party in very recent happening turning around to refute a glaring participation. This little fellow must think he can continue to take Nigerians on fruitless directionless rides.
Well said. Shameless set of people.
