JUST IN: “I have signed notice for Buhari’s Impeachment” – Reps member opens up

The lawmaker representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dachung Bagos, has revealed that he has signed the impeachment notice to sack President Muhammadu Buhari from office.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Bagos arrived the decision following the killing of seven of his constituents by suspected terrorists on Sunday.

The killing came barely 24 hours after 18 people lost their lives during a clash between bandits and vigilantes in Wase Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State.

Bagos, who is the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Anti-Corruption, was present at the mass burial of the seven casualties at Danda Village on Monday.

“This incident has raised concerns over the readiness of security agencies to tackle once and for all the gorilla style of killing which has been incessant in my constituency and Plateau State.

“As the representatives of my people in Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, I have signed for the impeachment of Mr President because we need someone that will address the issues of insecurity. My people are being killed on a daily basis; this is condemnable and unacceptable,” he said.

  1. Nigeria is an unusual place to live in. There are 36 state governments, non of them has a police force. Where in the world do you have a government without a police department How will the government protect its people and property.
