Israel on Saturday, November 22, announced the killing of two Hezbollah terrorists in Southern Lebanon.
The Israel Defence Forces in a statement said Kamel Reza Karnabsh was killed in the Mayfadoun area of Lebanon while another terrorist was eliminated in Inna separate strike conducted in Houla.
According to the force, Karnabsh was involved in Hezbollah’s reestablishment efforts while the other terrorist served as the organisation’s local representative, responsible for financial and military coordination and seizing private assets for terror use.
IDF said, “The terrorists’ activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”
In addition, the IDF also noted that a terrorist who attempted to flee from the underground terror infrastructure in eastern Rafah was arrested by troops.
It said, “At the end of a 24-hour pursuit, all 17 terrorists who attempted to flee the underground terror infrastructure were either eliminated or apprehended.
“In total, 11 terrorists were eliminated, and 6 were apprehended and transferred for further ISA questioning,” the IDF added.
