Kano Pillars Para-Soccer player, Abdullahi Muhammad, popularly known as Ortega, is dead.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Late Muhammad is one of the para-soccer players that represented Nigeria in various international para-soccer tournaments.
Although details of the occurrence were not clear, Muhammad reportedly died in an inferno on Sunday.
Late Muhammad was the captain of the Kano Pillars ParaSoccer team.
Condolence messages have been pouring in on social media following Muhammad’s exit.
In a piece of related news, the newly-appointed head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars, Evans Ogenyi, has promised to return the club to winning ways.
Ogenyi last managed another Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Warri Wolves.
He has also managed Ocean Boys and Lobi Stars in the past.
Four-time NPFL champions, Kano Pillars will look for a quick return to the Nigerian top flight after a dismal campaign last term.
