The Deputy Governor of Lagos, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, has arrived at the Rosaline Omotoso Court House in Ikeja for the Lagos Governorship Election Petition Tribunal judgement.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the legal battle ensued from a petition filed by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, representing the Labour Party (LP), and Azeez Olajide, popularly known as Jandor, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the legitimacy of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s election.
Dr. Hamzat, flanked by a retinue of aides, arrived at precisely 9:20 a.m.
The members of the tribunal who will give the verdict are Justice Arum Igyen Ashom, Justice Mikhail Abdullahi, and Justice I.P. Braimoh.
