The Adamawa State Government has declared a Councilor representing Vulpi Ward of Numan Local Government Area of the state, Makana Enan Ngari wanted on allegations of cattle rustling.
The Councilor is suspected of being involved in illegal deals and cattle rustling which is a violation of his oath of office. The development is coming at a time the government has succeeded at stabilizing the area after incessant attacks on villages along the borders of Adamawa and Taraba.
This was announced via a statement signed by the press secretary to the state governor, Humwashi Wonosikou.
The government appealed to Herders and Farmers not to take the law into their hands, but allow the law to take its course as the government is doing everything possible to ensure that peace prevails between Farmers and Herders and all law-abiding citizens.
The state government also revealed will not sit back and watch criminals destroy the hard-earned peace it has worked hard to achieve.
