Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area (LGA) in Rivers State, Engr. David Rogers Irimagha is dead.
Although the cause of his death is not yet truly ascertained, sources said that he died in his sleep on Saturday.
“He was found dead in his sleep this morning,” a source said, according to The Nation.
The deceased was among the second term chairmen inaugurated on April 2021 after the Rivers State local government election.
He passed on just days after celebrating the first 100 days into his second term in office.
Condolence messages have been pouring in since news of Rogers’ exit broke.
