President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the immediate retirement of all Service Chiefs.
The President also ordered the retirement of the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers.
The service chiefs include:
Major-General Lucky E.O Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff
Major-General Ibrahim Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff
Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff
Also, the president retired the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, retired Col. Hameed Ali.
Politics Nigeria reports that this was contained in a statement by the Director, Information, Office of the Secretary-General to the Federation, Willie Bassey, on Monday.
