The Nassarawa state House of Assembly complex has been completely fumigated following the death of a lawmaker in the state, Suleiman Adamu from COVID-19.
Adamu died on Friday after suddenly falling ill last Thursday. NCDC officials took samples from him and the test results returned positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has ordered that all state lawmakers and assembly staff be moved into quarantine following the development.
