The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has summoned Ms. Comfort Emmanson and an Ibom Air cabin crew member, Juliana Edward, for further investigation into an incident aboard an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos on August 10.
This was confirmed by the NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Michael Achimugu, during a stakeholders’ meeting of the Emergency National Civil Aviation Security Committee in Abuja on Tuesday.
Achimugu disclosed that he had spoken with Emmanson earlier in the day and that both she and the crew involved had been directed to appear before the Authority on Wednesday.
“I have spoken with Ms. Emmanson this morning. We are also inviting the Ibom Air cabin crew for continued investigation on the incident. They will be here tomorrow,” he said.
