Providing update about the raid, Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, said following the discovery of the prohibited drugs, “we have to trace where they are getting these substances from.”

“When their house was searched we found in their possession molly and cannabis. The investigation is still ongoing but we have to trace where they are getting these substances from,” Babafemi told the media.

This newspaper understands that molly is an illegal drug that acts as both a stimulant and psychedelic, producing an energizing effect, as well as distortions in time and perception and enhanced enjoyment from tactile experiences.
