JUST IN: Nigerian Army kill several ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists in Borno [PHOTOS]

Lieutenant Colonel Ishaya Manga led a 134SF BN patrol to decimate suspected members of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP)/Boko Haram from Wajiroko in Damboa, Borno State.

POLITICS NIGERIA learnt on Wednesday that the security operatives also rescued women and children.

Boko Haram terrorists had mounted checkpoints at Wajiroko. It is understood that the insurgents camping at that location are large in number and well-equipped, utilising Multe and Furfur villages as their source of food, fuel and basic survival needs.

Lt Col. Manga and his team were said to have cleared the terrorists positions.

The troops in collaboration with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) also successfully cleared Ambiya Tasha, Ndoksa villages located East of Buni Gari in Yobe state and its vicinity, and killed many terrorists, while others escaped with injuries in the week-long campaign.
