Nigerian musician, David Adeleke whose stage name is Davido has made a N300 million donation to orphanages across the country.
The singer said the fund would be distributed to the orphanages through his foundation.
Adeleke had in the past founded the Davido Adeleke Foundation with support from various charitable organizations.
According to him, he aims to provide assistance to vulnerable children in Nigeria with the foundation.
In a post made on X on Monday, November 18, the singer said the donation was part of activities to celebrate his birthday this year.
He posted: “Once again, my birthday this year. We are donating to ophanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”
