Many Nigerians on social media particularly Twitter have reacted to the death of Emir of Rano, Tafida
Abubakar Illa who died on Saturday.
He died at the age of 74 after battling with undisclosed ailments.
According to the secretary, Rano Emirate council, Sank Haruna, he died around 5 pm.
He was one of the newly created four emirates by Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje. His demise is coming at a time when Kano is battling with the rise of Coronavirus pandemic.
