JUST IN: Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie dumps PDP for APGA

A former governorship aspirant in Anambra state, Yul Edochie, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

Recall that the Nollywood actor and son of a famous actor, Peter Edochie had contested for the 2017 governorship race in the state. He, however, left APGA for the PDP in December 2018 in the build-up to the 2019 general elections.

But in a post via his Twitter handle on Monday, the actor cum politician announced his return to APGA. Edochie noted that he was received back to the party at his ward, Nteje ward 5 by the ward chairman, Ikenweilo Kenneth Tochukwu.

He wrote: “Back to APGA. Nkea bu nke anyi!.”

“Yesterday, in the company of my beautiful wife, May Yul-Edochie. Nteje ward 5 APGA Chairman, Ikenweilo Kenneth Tochukwu, and my People Kelvin Okonkwo, Chioma Emenike, Kenneth Ejiubu.”
