On Saturday, January 25, supporters of the impeached Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa arrived in their numbers at the Ikeja Lodge.
Politics Nigeria gathered that lawmaker’s supporters were at the location to welcome Obasa who has been away in the United States of America since his impeachment.
The supporters donning their crested t-shirts and caps arrived in large numbers to throw their support for the former Speaker who is due to arrive in Lagos today.
The embattled Speaker who is being accused of some fraudulent activities was earlier impeached by lawmakers of the Lagos House of Assemnly while he was away in the US.
He was immediately replaced by a new Speaker in the person of Mojisola Meranda, a former deputy speaker of the House.
