The Supreme Court has revealed that no life was lost in the fire incident that razed a section of its expansive complex at the Three Arms Zone of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Monday morning.
The fire incident reportedly consumed the offices of three apex court justices. Still, no casualty was recorded, spokesperson for Supreme Court, Festus Akande, told Channels Television.
He added that the fire outbreak originated from one of the justice’s chambers and was put out with fire extinguishers.
Some reports indicated that the fire incident started around 6 a.m. and was detected by workers who resumed work early.
The workers reportedly used the fire extinguishers in the building to combat the fire.
