Ex-national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole has delivered his ward as his party emerged victorious by a huge margin.
The APC secured 1,201 votes cast at Ward 10, PU 001, Estako West Local Government Area for the state governorship election that took place on Saturday. The PDP polled no vote in the unit, according to results announced.
Although, there were several incidents of voter inducement in Oshiomole’s polling unit, his party has hailed him for the development. Incumbent Governor, Godwin Obaseki also delivered his polling unit in Oredo as the PDP won there. Obaseki, however criticised Nigeria’s electoral body, INEC over the conduct of the elections.
Shortly after voting, he expressed disappointment at the way the exercise was conducted adding that several card readers malfunctioned.
