JUST IN: Patriotic Nigerian Per Excellence – Deputy Senate President Greets First Lady At 64

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Jibrin Barau has extolled Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on the occasion of her 64th birthday anniversary, today, September 21st.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Senator Barau described the first Lady as a “patriotic Nigerian par excellence,” adding that her contribution to the entrenchment of democracy in the country has been “immense, sterling, and novel.”

He recalled that when Senator Tinubu was first lady of Lagos State between 1999 to 2007, she impacted positively on the lives of millions of women, children, and youths in the state through the New Era Foundation.

“At the Senate, between 2011 and 2023, when she represented Lagos Central, she left no stone unturned in addressing the challenges facing the country through the various committees she chaired and served in,” he further recalled.

“Through her pet project, Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), she has been contributing to addressing the key challenges facing women, youths, and children in the country.”

The deputy senate president prayed to God to grant Senator Tinubu long life, sound health and wisdom in her endeavours as well as support to her husband, President Bola Tinubu in delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda for the peace and progress of our dear country.
