The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently holding an emergency meeting at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja to address the ongoing leadership crisis within the party.
Top on the agenda is finding a resolution to the multiple court rulings affecting the dispute over the position of the National Secretary.
Among those in attendance are BoT Chairman Senator Adolphus Wabara, BoT Secretary Senator Ahmed Makarfi, and former governors Achike Udenwa, Sam Egwu, Babangida Aliyu, Senator Ben Obi, and Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
Two former ministers Taminu Turaki and Maryam Ciroma, are also part of the meeting.
The meeting is expected to deliberate on strategies to navigate the party’s internal challenges and ensure stability ahead of future political engagements.
