The FCT Police Command has identified the policeman that killed a 52 -year-old man, Solomon Eze in the Karimo area of the city on Sunday.
In a press release on Monday, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, said the incident happened at about 6:00pm on Sunday.
Manzah noted that the culprit has been arrested and currently in detention, adding that the Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma, has ordered an investigation into the killing.
The PRO said the police command, however, commiserated with the family and friends of the deceased, assuring the public of transparency in its investigation.
