President Bola Tinubu on Thursday, May 8, bagged the chieftaincy title of ‘Dike Si Mba’ of Anambra State.

The title was conferred on the president by traditional leaders in the state during his visit to Anambra for a one-day working visit.

This was disclosed by Fredrick Nwabufo, the senior special assistant to the president on public engagement.

Nwabufo wrote on X, “President Bola Tinubu has just been conferred with the chieftaincy title of Dike Si-mba of Anambra – the Mighty warrior.”

The leaders led by the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Chidubem Iweka of Obosi, conferred the title on Tinubu in Awka, Anambra State’s capital city.

The new title, ‘Dike Si Mba’, refers to a ‘Hero from another land’.

Since arriving in the state, the president has commissioned various projects executed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, including Anambra State’s first-ever Government House on Thursday, marking a historic milestone more than 30 years after the state’s creation.
