President Bola Tinubu is meeting with Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Benjamin Kalu at the State House in Abuja.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that this development comes in the wake of an earlier closed-door meeting held by the President with Senate President Ahmed Lawan and Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
It is worth recalling that Abbas and Kalu have been officially endorsed by the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, respectively.
However, their nominations have encountered formidable opposition from select members within the Lower Chamber of the Assembly.
