Alhaji AbdulYekeen Ademola Santos, a prominent ex-officio member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West region, has passed away, according to reports.
Santos, a respected chieftain of the party in Oyo State, was confirmed to have passed by Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, Chairman of the House Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity.
In a statement released on Saturday and signed by Tolu Mustapha, Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Olajide expressed profound sorrow over Santos’s demise.
He described Santos as a devoted and selfless leader who dedicated his life to serving humanity.
Olajide highlighted Santos’s significant contributions to the political landscape of Oyo State and the development of the PDP, noting that his loss would be deeply felt by party members across the state.
“Santos was a pillar of strength and a shining example of dedication and commitment to the PDP,” the statement read.
