JUST IN: Rivers Assembly member Dinebari Loolo is dead

Dinebari Loolo, a Rivers House of Assembly member representing Khana 2 State Constituency, is dead.

Loolo died in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, on Monday, according to several media reports in the south-south state.

On hearing the news, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule led other lawmakers on a condolence visit to the family of the late lawmaker.

The Speaker, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues during the condolence visit, expressed the condolences of the House to the family of the late Loolo, describing him as a rare gem who contributed immensely to the development of his constituency and the state as a whole.

He urged the family to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a life of service to humanity and left a legacy that will forever be remembered.

He assured the family of the continued support of the House while praying for their comfort and strength during this challenging period.

The Speaker also prayed that almighty God would grant the family and his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss of their colleague.
