Rivers State House of Assembly prepares to resume sitting at 10 a.m on Thursday.
Sources say the Assembly, led by Speaker Hon. Martin Amaewhule, will hold its sitting at the Assembly Residential Complex along the Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway.
It was gathered that the 27 lawmakers returned to the state several days before the expiration of the State of Emergency Rule, which had been imposed by President Bola Tinubu and suspended democratic governance in Rivers.
At press time, the lawmakers, who are already residing in the Assembly residential complex, were preparing to convene for their first sitting.
