The Senate on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of the Chief of Defence Staff-designate, General Olufemi Oluyede.
His confirmation came shortly after the Senate began the screening of the newly appointed Service Chiefs during plenary in Abuja.
General Oluyede was approved less than an hour after he and the other nominees arrived at the National Assembly complex under tight security.
