JUST IN: Sowore describes Tinubu’s govt as a “sinking regime”

Former presidential candidate under the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has described the Bola Tinubu-led government as a ”sinking regime.”

Sowore, the publisher of online newspaper, Sahara Reporters, made this known in a post on X.

The activist-turned-politician was reacting to a post by Bayo Onanuga, where the presidential media aide accused the supporters of another opposition figure, Peter Obi, of planning nationwide protests to destabilise the Tinubu-led government.

Reacting to Onanuga’s statement, Sowore, who has been mobilising protesters via social media ahead of the nationwide street processions, wrote:

”The drivel from a sinking regime. There is nothing that could stop an idea whose time has come.

”It doesn’t matter how you frame your fears and shenanigans, and the truth is that Nigerians are tired of the deceit, corruption, wickedness and incompetence of the ruling class and have opted to act from all locations at once.”
