President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Thompson Oludare, as the Managing Director of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
The president also approved the appointment of Kabir Kataka as the Executive Director at the NDIC.
These appointments were contained in a letter addressed to the leadership of the Nigeria Senate.
Tinubu in the letter urged the Senate to consider the nomination of both proposed staff of NDIC.
Reading the president’s letter on the floor of the plenary on Wednesday, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio referred the request to the Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions.
The Committee is expected to review the president’s request and revert to the Senate leadership with its findings after due legislative work.
