JUST IN: Tinubu Approves Immediate Construction of New Projects in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu has approved the immediate construction of new hostels at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus, as well as a major road project linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, the projects are to be executed under emergency consideration.

The hostel development will consist of two purpose-built facilities, each designed to accommodate 300 students.

One block will serve female students, while the other will be reserved for male students, a move expected to significantly ease accommodation challenges at the law school.

On infrastructure, the president also directed the construction of an access road connecting the Body of Benchers Secretariat to Nile University.

The FCT Minister’s office noted that the road, once completed, will improve access to the Secretariat and reduce congestion along the busy route leading to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters.
