JUST IN: Tinubu Arrives Ogun on Private Visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Ogun state on a private visit.

Tinubu landed at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in the Ijebu-Ode area of the state at exactly 10.17 am.

Politics Nigeria reports that Tinubu arrived in a Presidential chopper tag, 5N FG2, Nigeria Airforce.

He was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu and the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategies, Dele Alake.

Tinubu was received by Governor Dapo Abiodun, Chief Olusegun Osoba and other supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The President inspected the Guard of Honour and immediately left for the residence of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona where he is expected to have a private meeting with the monarch.

Tinubu is also expected to have a separate meeting with the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo in Abeokuta, the State capital.

Heavily armed operatives of the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Police Force, the DSS, the Civil Defence Corps and others were seen at the entrance of the palace, screening individuals who seek to go into the palace.
