JUST IN: Tinubu cuts short vacation, returns to Abuja tomorrow

President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday after ending his vacation ahead of schedule.

Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced Tinubu’s early return in a statement on Monday.

Tinubu left for France on September 4 to spend part of his annual holiday and was initially scheduled to split the period between France and the United Kingdom.

Last week in Paris, the president held a private luncheon with Emmanuel Macron, his French counterpart, at the Élysée Palace.

According to Onanuga, both leaders reviewed key areas of cooperation between Nigeria and France and agreed to deepen ties for mutual prosperity and global stability.
