President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja, the Nigerian capital, following his state visits to France and South Africa.
The president’s plane touched down at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 9:10 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
Tinubu embarked on the trips last Wednesday, beginning with a state visit to France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
The visit aimed to strengthen political, economic, and cultural ties while fostering new opportunities for partnership in key sectors, including agriculture, security, education, health, youth engagement, employment, innovation, and energy transition.
Following the three-day engagement in France, the president proceeded to South Africa on Monday to co-chair the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission alongside South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
