President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima, state governors, and ministers are all present as the 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) commences in Abuja.
The gathering is being held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
Also in attendance at the meeting were former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau.

According to the meeting agenda the programme includes a tribute to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, the swearing-in and acceptance speech of the newly elected National Chairman, as well as remarks by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
