A notorious bandit leader, Harisu Babba Yauni, has been killed in a violent clash by members of another gang in Yauni Forest, Zakka, Safana Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State.
Yauni was killed alongside 10 of his men during the clash that occurred at about 8.30 am on Wednesday.
Zagazola Makama, a counter-security expert said the terrorist kingpin and his team were attacked by a rival faction from Kambarau, Tudun Dole, and Kauyen Mahuta Forests in Tsaskiya Ward of Safana LGA.
According to Makama, Yauni is said to have been behind the killing of Mobile Police Force personnel in Zakka vamp.
He has always been a target for the police following his notorious activities and killing of innocent residents around Zakka.
