A train travelling on the newly constructed Port Harcourt to Aba section of the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri Railway has broken down.
The incident occurred just 50 meters from UTC Junction as the train was en route from Port Harcourt township to Aba, Abia state.
The sudden breakdown has drawn a large crowd of onlookers, who are attentively watching as technicians work diligently to repair the train and clear the tracks.
Security agents are also on the scene to manage the situation and ensure the safety of both the workers and the curious onlookers.
The cause of the breakdown has not yet been disclosed, but technicians are making every effort to address the issue and resume normal service as soon as possible.
