Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja to attend a public lecture and symposium to mark Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the event has the theme “Actualizing the Vision of Renewed Hope for Socio-Economic Development through Effective Leadership.”
Other dignitaries expected to attend include government officials and civil society leaders.
The lecture is part of a series of events organised by the Federal Government to commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Day. The events are aimed at promoting national unity and cohesion and to reflect on the country’s progress since independence.
