Vice President Kashim Shettima on Monday decorated Adewale Bashir Adeniyi, the Acting Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Adeniyi’s appointment as the acting Comptroller-General of Customs was announced by President Bola Tinubu on June 19, 2023, alongside other newly appointed Heads of Security Services.
Vice President Shettima had recently performed a similar decoration ceremony at the Presidential Villa, where he bestowed the new rank upon Kayode Egbetokun, the Acting Inspector-General of Police.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu is expected back in the country this week after haven travelled to attend a summit in Paris.
