The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has said that it is working round the clock to ensure that the Kaduna and the second Port Harcourt refineries meet global standards.
The company in a statement by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye said both refineries are currently undergoing a total overhaul to meet global standards.
Soneye said the 60,000 bpd done at the Port Harcourt and Warri Refineries is not a typical Turnaround Maintenance, TAM, of the past.
According to him, that is the total overhaul that has been designed to meet world-class standards.
Soneye further stated similar efforts – like the refurbishing done in Port Harcourtand Warri – were underway at a second Port Harcourt and Kaduna refineries.
