Kenneth Okonkwo Predicts ADC Victory in 2027

Veteran Nollywood actor and politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will win the 2027 general elections and unseat President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Okonkwo made the bold claim on Monday while speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily. He argued that the “true test” of the ADC would come in 2027 under the party’s new leadership headed by David Mark.

The ADC had failed to secure any seat in the August 16 by-elections across 16 constituencies, where the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) claimed 12 victories in nine states. But Okonkwo dismissed those results, stressing that they were tied to primaries conducted before the current leadership took over.

“We are going to form the next government in Nigeria and send Tinubu to Bourdillon,” Okonkwo said.

On the party’s structure, he insisted the ADC now has a presence in all 36 states, naming former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi as the party’s figurehead in Rivers.

Asked whether the party stood a real chance in 2027, Okonkwo responded: “We stand a chance in every election in Nigeria.”
