One of the members of the Kogi State House of Assembly, John Abah, has been confirmed dead.
Announcing the death of the lawmaker, Demi Olugbemi, the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mathew Kolawole, said Abah died in the early hours of Wednesday.
He was a lawmaker representing Ibaji Constituency in the 8th assembly, where he was serving as a second term.
Olugbemi noted that Abah was not known to have been sick prior to his death.
