Kwankwaso speaks on his legacy, reveals 1 thing he holds dearly

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has said that his contribution to the education sector in Kano State and Nigeria at large is his biggest legacy.

Speaking while commissioning an ultra-modern auditorium and a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative at Skyline University in Kano State, the former governor said education and not roads or bypass are what he holds dear to heart.

Also marking his 68th birthday, assured residents of Kano of his continued commitment to the education sector.

He said, “What I regard as my legacy is not the flyovers, underpasses, five-kilometer roads that I have done, what I consider as my legacy are the Yusuf Maitama Sule University and the Dangote University of Science and Technology Wudil.

“I want to assure the people of Kano state and Nigeria in general that I will continue to support the education sector to ensure that we develop our people,” Kwankwaso said.

Promising to support education at both the graduate and postgraduate levels, Kwankwaso said he feels gratified whenever he meets with beneficiaries of some of his initiatives in the education sector.

“I feel very gratified whenever I see people that are beneficiaries of these things we have done who have today become scholars,” he said.
