
A former member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin has addressed the claim that he has plans to resign from the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
Jibrin who represented Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency said whenever he decides to resign from NNPP, people should not be surprised.
Speaking in an interview with DCL Hausa, Jibrin who is a member of the Kwankwasiyya movement said he appreciates all the sacrifices made by the group and NNPP.
He also mentioned that he is open to negotiations with other political parties.
According to him, he cannot be boxed into following a particular political path.
He further stated that he is forever aligned with the ideals of Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State.
Noting that he holds Kwankwaso in high esteem, Jibrin said he has never insulted Abdullahi Umar Ganduje despite their differences.
His words, “Nothing is impossible. I can remain in NNPP, I can go back to APC, I can join ADC or PDP or even PRP. I can go to wherever I like.
“Any time I decide, I will make my position known,” Jibrin said.
