The Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq paid a courtesy call on the Founder/Executive Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu at the BUA HQ, in Lagos on Thursday, January 7th to discuss the continuing partnership between BUA and Kwara State which is host to BUA’s 20,000ha Lafiagi Sugar Plantation & Refinery.
Upon completion, BUA’s Lafiagi Sugar Project in Kwara State will produce 200,000 tonnes of refined sugar, 20million litres of ethanol annually and 35MW of power from bagasse and is the largest sugar investment in Southern Nigeria.
