In a concerted effort to address the growing challenges of accessing affordable healthcare, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the 2023 Lagos Gubernatorial Candidate for the Labour Party has initiated a healthcare outreach initiative to thousands of residents in the state.
The outreach distributes Health Insurance Cards, a pivotal step aimed at ensuring better healthcare access for individuals grappling with the soaring expenses of medical care.
Going beyond the mere distribution of cards, the outreach offered an extensive array of critical medical services to the local populace.
Free medical consultations, treatments, and dispensing of essential medicines were among the pivotal services extended to community members.
The scope of healthcare services offered during the outreach was notably comprehensive. It encompassed general check-ups, diagnosis and treatment of prevalent ailments, maternal and child health services, and dental care, catering to a wide range of healthcare needs within the community.
Sharing photos of the initiative on his X page, Rhodes-Vivour wrote:
”With the rising cost of medication now more than ever, every little helps.

”Preventative medicine, data-driven A.I empowered diagnostics, network of pharmacies combined with telemedicine and quality well-equipped health care centres in each ward.”
