Vice President Kashim on Saturday said that the late former president, Muhammadu Buhari will forever remain dear to President Bola Tinubu.
The vice president made this assertion while attending the wedding Fatiha of Halima Amira Junaid, granddaughter of the late Buhari.
Halima is getting married to Walid Shehu Muazu in Kaduna State.
Speaking while paying a condolence visit to the family of the late President, Shettina said he was in Kaduna to represent President Tinubu at the wedding.
Stanley Nkwocha, the media aide to the vice president made this known on X.
According to Nkwocha, the vice president noted that he was specifically directed by President Tinubu to extend his warm regards and reassure the family of his continued support.
The vice president also offered words of comfort and encouragement to the widow of the late former president, Hajiya Aisha Buhari.
