President Bola Tinubu on Friday, January 24, eulogised the late Jeremiah Useni, a former minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
In a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, the president’s aide on information and strategy, Tinubu commiserate with the people of Plateau State, the Nigerian Military and the FCT.
Extending his heartfelt condolences, Tonubu said the former governor of Old Bendel demonstrated courage and dedication throughout his military career and inspired many young officers to prioritise national interests above personal gain.
He said that Useni during his time on earth made some difference in politics as deputy national chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District.
Tinubu in his condolence prayed that God Almighty would grant the late retired Lieutenant-General Useni’s soul eternal rest and solace for his family.
